💖Do Good to Those Who Hate You
We continue our ✝️Values series with the printable Be Kind! 📝
Jesus said, “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” Luke 6:27-28, NIV
Jesus was hated, and he still is. He told us to expect to be hated when we stand against the ways of this world. He said, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” John 15:18, NIV.
You’ve seen the videos of people screaming hateful things at Christians, and many of us are still dealing with the loss of Charlie Kirk. On my Dr. Sweater account on TikTok, I sometimes get a hundred hateful comments in a single day.
We’re living through a time when Christians are openly hated, even in Christian countries. We must remember that Jesus answered hatred with truth and kindness. This week’s printable will help you discuss with your kids different ways to show kindness.

Book Recommendations 🤓
Picture Book: The Berenstain Bears Hug and Make Up!
We all have days. We all get frustrated. We all get cranky, and we’ve all been mean, even to those we love. This book helps us remember that forgiveness is kindness. 🫶
Kid’s Chapter Book: Voyage of the Dawntreader by C.S. Lewis
🐉This is one of my favorite Narnia books. My favorite part is when the mean boy Eustace Scrubb turns into a dragon, but after Aslan saves him, Eustice becomes kind.
For Grownups: The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey
This book is about zombies, but from the perspective of a kind, genius, zombie girl. It’s extremely well-written, and it gives a deeper perspective on kindness. 🧟
