Here’s a printable to help your kids remember all their summer adventures!
As the summer wraps up and we return to Texas, I started thinking about all of the adventures we’ve had this summer. My wife and I walked 75 miles to see the bones of the Disciple James. Our family saw about 10 World Heritage Sites, including a stone-age building a thousand years older than the pyramids!
We went swimming a lot. We played with their aunt’s new puppy. We ate a lot of Abuela’s cooking. We got sick (not from her cooking). Abuela was in the hospital! But we’re all better now, and we’re looking forward to Texas-sized adventures in the Fall!
👨👩👧👦 What We’re Up To
We’ll be back in Texas in just a few days. The girls and I are looking forward to seeing their mom again. We’re all looking forward to barbeque, biscuits, and breakfast tacos!
What We’re Reading 🤓
My 10-year-old is reading Ramona again, because we didn’t quite bring enough books for either of the kids. My 13-year-old is reading the Lord of the Rings books again, and I’m still not into Don Quixote. I need to block out a few hours and get far enough to either love it or know that I hate it. Procrastination!
