😄 Have Joy! 😊
Discuss Joy with Your Kids Using Our "Have Joy!" Free Printable
from Delaine, Homeschooling Mom to 3 Boys!
I believe the best way to teach children about joy is not just to talk about it, but to do something while you’re talking about it. Hands-on activities help make the lesson stick better in their minds.
This printable is a simple and fun way to help teach JOY, in a way that kids can understand. These activities open the door for meaningful conversations about what joy looks like, how it comes from God, and how we can show it to others in everyday life.
When kids are actively engaged, their hearts and imaginations are more open to understanding that joy isn’t just a word we say, but something we live out as a gift from God.
I’ll be using these activities with all three of my kids, and we’ll be talking about what joy means to them and the little things that bring them joy. Afterwards, I’ll pick out a book to read that reinforces the lesson, helping them connect even more with the idea of joy. To close our time together, we’ll watch this YouTube video that I made about the fruit of the Spirit, Joy!

Next week, we’ll take a break from the values and virtues series for a printable on Simple CVC Sentences. It’s a sentence-picture match activity with 100 simple sentences with no word longer than 3 letters!
